The Bubblegum Crisis Icon Collection - Vol. 1

Introduction:
Megatoyko 2032AD... the world has changed. The city is ruled by a neotechnology corporation named Genom that specializes in the creation of a new kind of artificial life called Boomers. Into this cyberpunk landscape comes a group of brave young women - The Knight Sabers who have sworn to defend the citizens of Megatoyko from the chaos and havoc of the Boomers. Sporting advanced body armor (known as hard suits), The Knight Sabers represent the state-of-the-art in personal AI defense weaponry. Together, they represent a strong force for good among the corrupt and alien backdrop of cyber-future.

Talos introduced me to the Bubblegum Crisis a long time ago, and its still one of my favorite anime titles. If you're a fan of Japanese anime, or just well done animation in general, you owe it to yourself to check the animation shelves of your local video store for the episodes of the Bubblegum Crisis. This collection contains 20 icons from the cult cyber-punk anime classic, Bubblegum Crisis. Icons representing the heroes, supporting characters and monstrous villains of the BGC universe are all presented for the true anime fan of the series. Through the years, BGC has proven to be one of the lasting favorites of the genre and we hope you enjoy customizing your mac with the characters of the BGC universe.

The enclosed icons are based on characters from the Bubblegum Crisis series, copyright AIC/Youmex. The icons are original artwork from the author and can only be distributed as freeware. You may not charge fees or request compensation OF ANY KIND and the read-me file must accompany the set at all times. None of the icons contained in this set may be used in any commercial or shareware application under any circumstances. By downloading this file you are agreeing to be bound by the terms of this agreement.

How To make Use of the Icons:
1. You need system 7 or higher.
2. Do a "Get Info" (File menu) on the original BGC icon file that you want to use.
3. Click on the icon in the window; choose "Copy" (Edit menu).
4. Close the window, then "Get Info" on destination file/disk.
5. Click on the icon, choose "Paste" (Edit menu).
6. Don't forget to e-mail me and let me know what you think!
